F1 racing, Abu Dhabi GP: The end of the emotional journey 2020 (Part 2)

The tournament came to an end, along with the battle for the third place of the Racing Point, McLauren and Renault teams.

Perez’s victory at Sakhir GP together with Stroll in third place brought Racing Point back to top 3. Racing Point currently has 194 points, leading McLauren and Renault 10 and 22 points, respectively.

In addition, Valtteri Bottas also need to be careful because his runner-up position can still be taken away by Max Verstappen if the end result is favorable for Red Bull’s racer.

Abu Dhabi is the ultimate race for some riders. Kevin Magnussen will move on to ISMA racing alongside Chip Ganassi Racing next year. Perez and Albon both currently do not know where to go for next season. Sebastian Vettel will have the final race for Ferrari before replacing Perez next season, while there is no information on Albon’s future.

Will Red Bull stick with Albon or replace it with Perez? It seems Sunday’s race will partially clear this up. Grosjean will miss the season / career finish, meaning Pietro Fittipaldi will take his place.

Mick Schumacher will make his debut after a misty appointment at the Nürburgring racetrack. The F2 champion will join Nikita Mazepin for the Haas team next year. So Friday’s probation brings him valuable experiences for the coming year.

Hamilton’s health is now better, but he still needs to have passed tests to be able to move and at least before the grading session to be able to race to the end of this season. Russell’s performance was so impressive that if Hamilton could not attend the race, the second chance would come to Russell.

Hamilton has up to five victories at the Abu Dhabi GP, but his attendance is still unknown. The third-place battle of the teams is still very intense, so the race is still worth the wait.
