F1 racing, Turkish GP: Calling champion Hamilton’s name (Part 1)

The 14th race of the 2020 season officially took place at the Istanbul Park racetrack in Turkey.

The Turkish GP race returned after 9 years had to be interrupted after the 2011 season due to financial problems. Vettel was the last winner here in the Red Bull shirt. This return, with fading performance in the present time, a modest position in the top 5 riders is also considered an overwhelming thing for Vettel and Ferrari’s SF1000.

Mercedes has won the team championship for the seventh consecutive time since the 2014 season after the Imola Italia race ended two weeks with a 1-2 win by the duo Hamilton and Bottas. Back in Istanbul, Hamilton’s personal championship for the 2020 season and his seventh time will most likely be decided.

Hamilton’s Bottas teammate at Mercedes is currently ranked 2nd on the rankings. If he fails to get 26 points in the Istanbul race (finish first and win the Fastest lap) then Hamilton will become the champion of this season, a hindering task too difficult for Bottas.

The Imola race was the third time a race was held in Italy and the third time Red Bull’s Verstappen failed to get good results. He has failed to finish the races in Italy this season.

Back in Istanbul, where Red Bull won the 2011 season, they are working on the best results. With the specs in the past, plus those who are still attached to Red Bull like Horner and Newey, the F1 gurus, a positive result for Red Bull and Verstappen is something.

Ricciardo with his impressive form that has consistently been at the top in recent races, the latest being third place in Imola, widened the gap on the rankings with 5th place driver Leclerc to 10 points, Ricciardo is currently ranked 4th on the ranking behind the duo of Mercedes and Verstappen. A positive position on the podium is expected to win, it is impossible not to mention Ricciardo.
